LAP is a privately-owned company and justly proud of its successful UK manufacturing reputation, having more than 25 years’ specialist experience within the OEM and aftermarket sectors in the construction, agricultural and road-going vehicle markets.

Formed in August 1989 following a management buy-out of a division of Lucas Automotive, the company’s dynamic approach has brought about consistent expansion of its product range, markets and capabilities.

Design, production and management functions are all carried out by 80 employees at its dedicated 3000m² site in Great Barr, Birmingham. Through efficient and flexible working practices, LAP provides a fast and flexible response to production demands and new design opportunities, delivered by a multi-skilled workforce.

LAP takes great pride in its specialist ability to supply customers worldwide with products manufactured to the highest standards and tailored to their exact requirements. The company currently exports to over 40 countries, ranging from Europe, South America to South Africa and Australasia to the Far East.
