The Transcend™ PowerTraxx® provides operators and patients with maximum safety and power when transporting up or down stairs. The Transcend™ PowerTraxx electronically controlled motor, with direct drive transmission, drives the tracks and can handle patient loads of up to 250 kg with ease up and down stairs. The battery has an extreme capacity and can handle 24-hour shifts without any problems (40 stairs up and down on average). Smooth and large 12×3 cm swivel wheels at the front and extra-large 20×4 cm rear wheels with integrated shock-absorbing tires that you can easily navigate in rough terrain. The smooth wheels prevent a lot of debris from sticking and it is easier to keep clean. The Transcend™ PowerTraxx® takes up little space when folded and no parts protrude that can get caught when taken in and out (Dimensions folded: 912 x 507 x 200 mm). In the folded position, the chair is locked so that it can be handled smoothly without unfolding itself.

The Transcend™ PowerTraxx® has a 5-position lifting handle that provides maximum control and the best ergonomics for operators of different heights. The wireless controller works in any position. There’s a built-in electronic speed control that limits speed during downhill transport to a safe and manageable level. A high ground clearance provides a smooth transport over carpets and uneven surfaces. The footrest is extended and has a better angle that increases the comfort of a seated patient with long legs. The seating area is large and wide and has removable panels for easy cleaning. The retractable rear carry handles have a unique angle to provide a better ergonomic position when handling and carrying the chair.
